Vietnam Airlines’ cooperations with regional and worldwide airlines has been highly valued and constantly developed in the efforts to expand our network and meet the demand of international and domestic travel.

What is 'Golden Lotus Plus program'?

Following the trend to become better and better, Golden Lotus Plus (GLP) - the Vietnam Airlines’ frequent flyer program was opened as an effort to encourage more regular passengers to fly with us and a gesture to honor them with priorities, special privileges and bonuses.

Launched in 1999, Golden Lotus Plus has been continuously extended and developed. As of the end of 2004, it has covered all the destinations Vietnam Airlines has been flying to.
By enrolling the program, GLP Members are entitled to accumulate points when flying with Vietnam Airlines and easily exchange their points for a variety of attractive awards for themselves as well as for their relatives and friends. The more you fly, the more benefits you can enjoy as you advance to a higher tier. Gold Members will enjoy even added comfort such as guaranteed seat reservation, reserved check-in counter, business class lounge access even when traveling on Economy class, extra baggage allowance...

From 2001, GLP has provided its Members, in cooperation with airline and non-airline partners, with many more opportunities to earn points including staying at hotels, spending on credit cards, dining at fine restaurants, go shopping.... At the same time, GLP Members can take advantage of special attention and benefits from the program Partners. They can receive either GLP points or special discounts from them.

GLP has participation agreements with a wide range of luxurious hotel chains, of which Swiss-bel hotel group, Accor Hotel group, Marco Polo Hotel group, Victoria Hotels and Resorts are very popular hotel brands in Vietnam. When traveling abroad, Members still enjoy bonus point accrual if they stay at any one of Marco Polo Hotel group with three hotels in Hong Kong, three hotels in China, one hotel in Philippines and one hotel in Vietnam. Restaurant and Shopping partners include 13 silk boutiques and 6 restaurants in Vietnam of Khaisilk Corporation. GLP partnership with Vietcombank allows Members to accrue points when spending by the co-brand credit card under the trademark American Express.
